ESP Sending

ESP Sending gives you control over which email service providers (ESPs) can send emails from your campaigns.

This is especially useful when your domain is burned or its reputation has been damaged at the ESP level, causing deliverability issues.

Previously, this could mean stopping the entire campaign.

With ESP Sending, you can disable the affected ESP and keep the campaign running with the providers you want to use.

Available ESPs

You can control sending for:

  • Google - Gmail & Google Workspace
  • Microsoft 365
  • Zoho
  • Other providers - Outlook.com, Yahoo, AOL, iCloud, and Proton Mail

How to control ESP sending

  1. Go to Settings → ESP Sending.
  2. Find the ESP you want to control.
  3. Turn its toggle ON to allow sending.
  4. Turn it OFF to stop using that ESP for sending.

You can also change these settings while a campaign is running.

When should you disable an ESP?

Consider disabling an ESP when you see a clear provider-specific problem, such as:

  • A sudden increase in bounces.
  • Emails being rejected by the provider.
  • Multiple sending accounts showing similar delivery problems.
  • A noticeable drop in deliverability from accounts using that ESP.
  • A sending domain or group of accounts showing signs of reputation damage.

Don't disable an ESP just because one email bounced. Look for a pattern across multiple accounts or sends before making a decision.

Example: Gmail starts bouncing

Imagine your campaign is running.

You notice that Gmail accounts are suddenly producing a high bounce rate.

Instead of cancelling the campaign:

  1. Open Settings → ESP Sending.
  2. Turn Google (Gmail & Google Workspace) OFF.
  3. Keep the other healthy ESPs enabled.

This lets you protect the affected sending infrastructure without unnecessarily stopping the rest of your campaign.

What happens when an ESP is turned off?

The disabled ESP will no longer be available for campaign sending.

Other ESPs that remain enabled can continue to send.

Turning an ESP off does not fix the underlying deliverability problem. You should still investigate issues such as domain reputation, authentication, account health, sending volume, and lead quality before using the affected ESP again.
